You should feel rightly pleased with yourself if you manage to get one these limited edition Beatles apple USB.
Beatles fans around the world have been waiting for the bands music to available for digital download, mainly via itunes …and you’ll still have to wait for the legal teams to sort that one out!
This unique USB drive is the first time the digitised albums have been made available. It’s fully compatible with both PCs and Macs but I’ve no idea if the tracks are copy protected or not – I would have thought so.
This apple shaped USB drive is loaded with:
- re-mastered audio for The Beatles 14 stereo titles
- all of the re-mastered CDs visual elements
- including 13 mini-documentary films about the studio albums
- replicated original UK album art
- rare photos
- expanded liner notes
But the Beatles USB really is a limited edition item here in the UK with only reportedly only 100 being made available to purchase from the Beatles Store. Due to be made available on 7th December in the UK and a day later in America. Now available in the UK from amazon.
For some reason 30,000 of these USB apples are being made available over in the States, so that’s seems way out of kilter with the UK allocation. Oh, the price …it’s £200!
Do you think that this will become an instant Beatles collectors item?

I’ve always had a soft spot for these classic Westclox Alarm Clocks because I always remember my nan having one by the side of her bed.
An out-and-out
